frequently asked
questions

What do I do first, and what can I expect?
First thing's first:  book your session date.  It's important to get your date/time booked to hold your spot.  Once we have that on the calendar, we can talk about the location(s) to have your session, as well as what to wear.  I can send you some tips/suggestions for clothing inspiration.   Once you're all ready to go and we get to your session, I'll take it from there.  Just relax!

What if there is bad weather on my session date?
Obviously we can't control the weather and what it may do.  If there's bad weather during the time of your session, I'll work with you to figure out a reschedule date.

May I pick the location for my session?

As part of my professional service to you, I will discuss with you the best location and setting to get the pictures that are right for you.

Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes, I typically offer one or two days in the Fall specifically for mini sessions.

What is a mini session?
I'm so glad you asked!  A mini session is a shorter session on a specific date, set for a particular time, at a location already chosen, lasting roughly about 15-20 minutes.

May I purchase digital files?
Absolutely!  While I believe purchasing prints from your session is important, after all you've hired a professional photographer to take professional portraits, I totally understand wanting the digital files as well!  All of my Collections offer digital files, but more (or ALL!) may be purchased through your gallery.
